This page provides a plain-English overview of how USlides works, how we handle data, and how to reach us. It is designed to be helpful and transparent, but it is not a substitute for a full legal agreement.

1) Terms of Use (overview)

USlides (“we”, “us”) is an AI-assisted presentation generator. By using the service, you agree to:

• Use responsibly: do not use USlides for illegal activities, harassment, or to generate harmful content.
• Be careful with sensitive data: do not upload trade secrets, personal medical data, passwords, or other confidential information.
• Verify before publishing: AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating your deck.
• Respect rights: do not upload content you do not have the right to use (copyrighted text, proprietary documents, etc.).

2) AI-generated content disclaimer

The service generates suggested text and may fetch images based on keywords. Output can contain errors, outdated information, or biased phrasing.

• Always review tone, numbers, names, dates, and claims.
• Double-check citations and sources (if you add them).
• Do not represent AI output as verified facts without validation.

3) Intellectual property

You retain your rights to the content you upload. For generated materials:

• Your deck: you may use, edit, and publish the generated presentation.
• Third-party assets: images and other external assets may have their own licenses and attribution requirements.
• Our service: UI, templates, and code belong to USlides or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

4) Privacy (overview)

We process data only to provide the service (generate slide plans, slide content, and downloadable files). We aim to collect the minimum needed to operate.

5) Data retention and security

USlides stores some data temporarily to deliver your presentation (for example, generated PPTX files and images). We apply basic security controls and clean up temporary files on a schedule.

• Temporary storage: generated files and intermediate assets may exist for a limited time.
• Access control: account access is required for creation and downloads.
• No sensitive uploads: please avoid uploading confidential materials while policies are evolving.

6) Third-party services

To operate, USlides may rely on third-party providers (for example, an external LLM API for text generation and an image provider for photos). When you use the service, your request may be sent to these providers strictly for processing the generation task.

• Text generation: prompts and context may be sent to an LLM provider to generate slide plan/content.
• Images: keywords may be used to retrieve photos from an image provider.
• Availability: third-party outages or API limits can affect generation speed or success.

7) Cookies

We may use essential cookies/session storage to keep you signed in and to maintain basic app functionality. We do not aim to use advertising cookies.

8) Your choices

You can choose what to input and whether to use generated assets. If you want assistance with deletion requests or privacy questions, contact us (see the right sidebar).
